But that's just it, most people from age 10 - 20 prepare for a life of overlapping rules & regulations. Then they spend their 20s to their 60s mostly working & don't have much time to think too much about reality. Then by their 70s & 80s many have lost the momentum to question much about the nature of reality.

The universe either has a creator or force that just magically popped into existence, intricate patterns formed & eventually consciousness manifested. Several people believe that consciouses is just a byproduct of a mechanical universe. Yet this consciouses can enter a tremendous amount of data into computers & search for patterns & clues.
