The port of registry was Liverpool. Although the Titanic sank in 1912, the ship was launched in the year 1,911.
The Liver Building opened in the year 1,911 & Walter_Aubrey_Thomas designed it to be topped with twin-towers. The producer of a flickr.com site has made an intriguing observation & statement. That the architect of the Liver Building died in 1934 on 9/11.
